TheEyePost practices only permission-based, opt-in email marketing and enforces it with our clients and partners. We have taken several steps to ensure our clients are able to achieve the highest possible delivery rates on their opt-in email messages.

A recent study shows that the average email user will receive nearly 1,600 unsolicited commercial email messages in 2006. Since ISP's and other organizations are overwhelmed by the amount of incoming email, many have added filtering mechanisms to block unsolicited email or "spam." The problem is, filters block not only spam, but also permission-based email erroneously identified as spam. Legitimate permission marketers are having difficulty getting emails delivered to their customers.

Maximize Delivery with TheEyePost
TheEyePost provides permission marketers do have ways to avoid filtering, the foremost of which is picking words and phrases carefully. At TheEyePost, we've launched two new features to enable our clients to communicate with their customers without their emails being falsely identified as spam.

Content Detective
This feature mirrors the logic used by spam filtering software to identify words, phrases, and patterns that are likely to trigger filters, then recommends a resolution to each identified problem, before an email is sent.

List Detective
This feature scans lists uploaded to TheEyePost, and identifies email addresses that may not be permission based. These include known unsolicited addresses, planted addresses, and addresses that don't belong to an individual, such as postmaster@ or abuse@. The Content and List Detectives are both free with TheEyePost yearly subscription.

ISP Agreements
We have developed relationships with key ISP's, anti-spam organizations, and others to ensure emails sent via our system reach the intended audience. We are listed on the "white list" for major ISP's, such as AOL, Juno and Yahoo. Our white list status allows mail sent from our system to be appropriately delivered their subscribers.

Abuse Desk Management
We work on your behalf to respond to spam complaints received. If we determine that the email addresses are in fact opt-in, then we will defend the validity of the list and name capture practices to anti-spam organizations. This ensures that companies following standard opt-in and privacy guidelines can continue to experience optimal delivery rates.
